| Title: tea, cream and a fork.

today was serena's birthday and since everyone was at duke of ed, there was only serena, peony, vee and me left. (amy and gemma were at home). so we celebrated serena's birthday! she brought in a green tea cake and everything and emily joined us for lunch and we all ate the cake together.
note: this post is going to be long. actually. it'll make it seem as im having a humongous moodswing and i should probably separate the posts but- actually i may as well.
ANYWAY.. i caught up on a lot of sleep today. we did nothing in class and since amy was gone i didn't have anyone so i slept, watched drama and talked to helena. ahahaha.
whatever, this post is mean't to be on serena's bday.
at lunch we were all in HSIE1 cause there was JAM and stuff next door. recess was basically us on laptops so i dont think i want to go into detail there.
mummy picked up the cake from her dad at the start of lunch so yeah, all four of us were waiting in HSIE haha. the cake was actually pretty big actually o_o i'm surprised all five of us finished it and still had time to muck about.
basically it was a green tea cake with like.. 2cm thick cream. THIS CREAM. THIS CREAM IS THE CAUSE OF BAD THINGS.
the cream itself didnt taste all too bad but in such huge masses you really can't eat it hahahaha. we had forks. 5 little forks to eat this bigger-that-15cm-in-diameter cake and none of us were forfeiting a ruler. so basically we just ate it all together spooning out of the cake and stuff.
this is the second cake we've had at school, the first being mine in year 7 and we went through a lot of running around with that haha. anywayyy~ peony ate a straight line through the entire cake! like.. there was just this line where peony ate going across the cake and breaking it in half. i'm serious it was pretty weird. vee was eating it in a cave-forming way because the cream isn't something you want to eat too much off. and yeah serena, emily and me were just eating wherever we felt like.
the entire post just then sounds pretty boring actually. but really, it was funny. next time theres a duke of ed day and we can plan for it, we're getting another cake and go around screwing with it.
considering we didn't touch a lot of the cream, SOMEONE'S (hubby-ah) smart little idea made it that we mixed all the cream together to form this disgusting mound of cream. IM SERIOUS IT LOOKED REALLY.. guh. and i was still eating! everyone had stopped eating so i was the only one left and you get really.. nauseated when you're eating the cake and watching the swirling pile of green coloured cream. heh.
then we spread it all over the cake stand and wrote 'HBD S.L [heart]'>
the weirdest part of all this is the conversation during it all. went along the lines of 'hehe. lets go give catherine (i don't remember which one but i'm guessing the high-pitched one?) this slice and see if she'll eat it' (slice had a crap load of cream) and 'let's go find nancy and say thats it's a facial or something!' and 'HAHAA LETS FREEZE THE CREAM AND ON THE NEXT DUKE OF ED DAY WE CAN EAT IT'. and some other crap on 'puke coloured', 'NAT GO EAT AND GET FATTER' and 'i feel sick'.
i don't even remember half of it. but whateverrrrrr. cake~
oh. and i smeared serenas cheek with the cream. AHHAHAHAHA. and then she got me back. damn.
that was basically what we did to celebrate? we got her some presents and everything but the cake was about it.
