hellooooo.
i dont have much to say. damn.
BUT I WANTED TO TALK ABOUT MY CONTACTS.
cause you know how i normally wear dailys? im switching to bi-weekly 8D well.. not switching, i've already switched.
(this post is gonna be very boring)
anywayy. i thought my previous brand was pretty good! turns out its pretty shit actually HAHA. okay basically my previous one was from specsavers. like they're actual own brand one. kinda like how woolworths have their brand of random stuff, which is normally pretty bad.
so i dont know why i thought their contacts were gonna be good. im weird.
ANYWAY, my problem with my previous one was that it dried out my eyes super quick. like seriously, by 6th period my eye would have like. little moisture.. so my eyes didnt shine or anything HAHA. they were all dull and matte. and when i took them out, one eye would be red due to lack of oxygen.
and.. you can always tell that im wearing contacts. seriously its not hard to see, theres like a random ring around my eye.
so i switched to ACUVUE. BI WEEKLY.
MAN. FIRST PRO: they have sexier packaging. i dont even know how to open the specsavers one. theres a tab to open it but then its actually joined to the rest of the box so you have to rip it open o__O their packaging is SEXY. its like 5 gum or something man! and their contact boxes are so much prettier. theyre snazzy and stuff too.
another pro: DUDE WHAT THE HECK ITS BLUE. its like the PRETTIEST LIGHT BLUE TINGE when you look at it in the light. SO PRETTY. and i can actually tell where it is now, rather than randomly grabbing around for my contact.
another one: my eye kinda sucks it up. like.. a vacuum. i dont even have to touch my eye anymore, it kinda just jumps to it as soon as a bit of the contact touches. thats kinda gross sounding.
i don't randomly go out of vision either. like before, i was in tutoring with my other contacts and i started kinda staring into space, and when i realised it, my eye was really out of vision. they were kinda just drifting around while i was staring i guess. but it SUCKED. CAUSE IT TOOK LIKE MORE THAN 5 SECONDS TO GO BACK INTO VISION. i hate that!
i can wear these ones for long periods of time. apparently. haven't tested it out yet. the longest time i've had contacts in was probably like.. almost 14 hours or something. and that was when i got an eye infection HAHA. BAD.
idc, i love my new contacts. you cant even see where it is now. so now people won't be like 'cool i can see your contacts' GO SEE ON MONDAY. YOU CANT TELL ANYMORE.
and if you do tell.. then.. booooo.
i got ipt on murrndayy. need to study up! i'm gonna be at gloria jeans again. sitting on my table with books and shit. and some drink. its kinda funny cause they dont kick me out even though im there for like 3 hours, and i finished my drink in the first 20 minutes.
gloria jeans is actually a really nice place to study. i swear its so calm and peaceful even if its in the middle of the city (just don't stare too much out of the window). theres no music playing normally and its really warm there. and the staff are nice. and they dont question why im here when school started 2 hours ago.
anyway. i just thought about it.
but i feel absolutely ugly when i get caught wearing glasses now. im normally fine with it, hell sometimes i think i look pretty nice with glasses, but im sorry, when i'm having a bad day and my hairs tied up messily and i had a breakout or something. having glasses on me is like *gunshot*
im not saying anything about other people who wear glasses constantly, cause some people look really good in them. seriously. i just don't think i'm one of them HAHA.
i mean seriously, today i just came back from swimming, my hair was wet and i was in pajamas with my glasses on and my cousin came over and she was like 'whoaaa okay'
and shes USED to me looking like this. im rarely without glasses when im with family. i just don't care about my appearance for family. but URGHHH i just think i look horrible with glasses sometimes. and that kinda annoys me.
i mean seriously, it doesnt happen that often. its either:
a) when im at home and i didnt go anywhere all day
b) on sunday morning at church. or grandmas.
c) when a contact falls out of my eye or some shit. or when i run out of contacts. or SOMETHING. JUST WHEN THINGS SCREW UPPPP.
WHY CANT I HAVE PERFECT VISION NOOOO
