sappy family appreciation post read at your own risk:
okay so today i watched my parents wedding vid for the first time ever, only a part of it, but despite the fact that im amazed that my mum and dad still look pretty much exactly the same just with a few more wrinkles, i saw my grandpa (whos deceased now if youre wondering) and it was really amazing to me cause i've only ever seen two photos of him- the one on his tomb and one when dad was a kid.
so seeing him in a video kinda made me tear up because despite never meeting him ever cause he passed before i was born, everytime his anniversary comes around i always sit for half an hour in front of his picture and just talk about how the past year has gone and stuff.
and yeah sure he probably doesnt understand me cause i talk english and he only understands viet, but i'd like to think he does, because it's nice.
..but then again if he's like my other grandpa he'd probably be all yelling how im so weird and stuff with all my emotions and to study lolololol.
heahehahehahehaehahehaehehahe and i know that lots of other people don't ever see any of their grandparents so i really shouldn't complain but yeah. i dunno i was brought up with most of my family with me since i can literally walk to over 80% of my extended families places within half an hour.
hell my cousin lives across the road LOL.
but yeah i dunno, in the past few days i've really come to appreciate having my family (even extended) so close by with me. i have a much better relationship with my little cousins now, and i play with them heaps and talk with them about cute guys and ask if they like anyone and i kinda wish my cousin did that for me when i was younger but they're not that type of person so i don't mind.
lol its so cute when my oldest cousin gets really giddy and giggly about her current boyfriend because he's her first one and they're soooo cute omg. i love how my younger cousins are so much more into kpop than me now and then they have their own 'babies' and we just compare them and shit and it's so adorable cause they're so adamant on how my babies are ugly (which they are not mind you)
and i loveeeeee vivi because she's the most spoilt little kid ever because of me and she always sticks close to me around the house for me to carry her even though she's getting flippin' heavy and she's like. 7 ish. but i love how shes always around to kiss me on the cheek and shes so FLIPPIN CUTEEE I LOVE HERRR.
